Frustration

This photo of an escalator reminds me of the frustration that I feel when I go out and about with my photography gear. I have been kicked out of so many "public" places by security guards that have been rude and/or accused me of doing sinister acts...It reminds me of when I used to go to these same places with my skate board. Anyways, the image above was one of 3 photos I took in a mall before my buddy and I got kicked out.

Yosemite National Park is a sacred place to me that is full of beauty and disbelief. Theodore Roosevelt wrote after camping in Yosemite National Park: "It was like lying in a great solemn cathedral, far vaster and more beautiful than any built by the hand of man." Mission Beach

The historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster in Mission Beach,CA was taken at dusk. I got lucky with the timing of the exposure to get a solid blur with a nice silhouette. Check out my amusement park photos here.

Bombay Beach, California

I took these at Bombay Beach on the Eastern Salton Sea in California. The town is a trip and can only be described as "Surreal". Both images bring a flash back to the vibe I felt when visiting Bombay Beach, CA and are best represented in sepia.

San Diego County Fair Images 2008

I had 3 photos in the San Diego County Fair last year. The horse image received a honorable mention and I hope to do better this year.
