I always enjoy taking photos of dogs. Golden Retrievers always seem so happy. I'd love to photograph some mean or scared dogs.

I love my new (old) lenses. I had some 1960's Nikkor lenses converted by John White. He does great work and I highly recommend him to convert any non AL-lenses. Visit his site here.

Frustration

This photo of an escalator reminds me of the frustration that I feel when I go out and about with my photography gear. I have been kicked out of so many "public" places by security guards that have been rude and/or accused me of doing sinister acts...It reminds me of when I used to go to these same places with my skate board. Anyways, the image above was one of 3 photos I took in a mall before my buddy and I got kicked out.

Yosemite National Park is a sacred place to me that is full of beauty and disbelief. Theodore Roosevelt wrote after camping in Yosemite National Park: "It was like lying in a great solemn cathedral, far vaster and more beautiful than any built by the hand of man." The historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster in Mission Beach,CA was taken at dusk. I got lucky with the timing of the exposure to get a solid blur with a nice silhouette. Check out my amusement park photos here.
