Night Photography Tips for Nikon Users!

Click to view my San Diego Skyline photos.

I created this list of night photography tips for Nikon DSLR users. Check it out.
Night Photography Tips.
If you don't want to read the whole discussion, here are some useful tips.

1) Get a solid tripod!

2) Shoot Lowest ISO possible and make sure it stays there!

3) Turn off the long exposure Noise Reduction setting if you have one...Both the D50/D300 "overfilter" the image.

4) Get a remote release (I use the cable-type)

4) Use the mirror up function if you have it

5) Get the White Balance off of "AUTO"

6) Keep the histogram off of the edges

7)Carry a flashlight

8) Watchout for wierdos and anything dangerous (I've had a few strange experiences late at night with bums/drunks)

9) Keep shooting!
